The Referenzfabrik.H2 will represent a close alliance of companies and research resources that collectively intensify the process chain for the production of hydrogen systems. Fraunhofer will develop key modules of the manufacturing chain and continuously provide the companies with connection points and opportunities to derive their individual business models at an early stage.

In addition to pooling competencies and infrastructures, the focus is on technological and economic orientation, effectiveness, and risk minimization. This will create reference products such as cells, stacks, and systems, as well as reference production modules or processes, which will serve as a basis for accelerating the industrial rollout.
