The Technology Mall was developed to provide an overview of technological options and the corresponding providers. It categorizes options based on the components to be manufactured, the services offered, and the partners involved.
For the components (BPP, MEA, gasket, stack), the production modules required for manufacturing are presented, the possible processes are listed, and they are described in terms of the equipment technology available within the value-added community. Individual processes can be combined into process chains under specific target parameters (e.g., high production volumes, high quality). Across components, the process chain representation is implemented using the Hy-Ventus (and Hy-Victus) system developments.
The service modules are presented and described in a similar manner.
To enable the partners of the Referenzfabrik.H2 to significantly increase their visibility in the field of hydrogen system production, plans are in place to showcase their expertise and infrastructure and to integrate them into the process chain.
In addition, a web portal is an integral part of the Technology Mall. Here, all research and industry partners offer their development services, components, and systems as a comprehensive package. This benefits prospective clients by providing them with a cross-partner proposal that is synchronized in terms of content and timelines, resulting in tailored, customized solutions.
In the next phase of development, a database connection will first be established, which will significantly expand the range of offerings. In addition, the Technology Mall will be expanded to include a virtual platform. This platform will be powered by the digital twins of the physical manufacturing modules and will be used for the economic and technological evaluation and analysis of processes, ranging from individual processes to complete value-added systems.
Partner companies and Fraunhofer infrastructure will integrate their manufacturing modules here, thereby establishing a high-throughput process chain that serves as a blueprint for industrial rollout.
